2:30pm - Take a trolley tour of our amazing BOURBON COUNTY MURALS. Learn the history and significance of each one while riding Dolly the Trolley! Space is limited.

SEPTEMBER 11TH - TOUR BRAND NEW MARY QUEEN OF ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH
1:30pm-3:30pm
We will meet in front of Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and take a tour of the magnificent new build.
The historic Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Fort Scott, Kansas, sustained extensive damage in a fire that occurred on August 29, 2022. The fire was caused by a lightning strike, and the church was deemed a total loss. The new Mary Queen of Angles Catholic Church had its first Mass on November 23rd, 2024.

OCTOBER 9TH - TOUR GORDON PARKS MUSEUM
1:30pm-3:30pm
We will meet in the Ellis Fine Arts Building on campus of FSCC. Tour the Gordon Parks Museum and wander through all the pictures submitted from the photography contest from the Gordon Parks Celebration. After lets get a little competitive with some games and refreshments!
The annual Gordon Parks Celebration in Fort Scott, KS, honors the life and legacy of the late, Fort Scott-native, Gordon Parks, a renowned photographer, filmmaker, writer, and musician. The celebration, which began in 2004, typically features a range of events, including film screenings, performances, and presentations. The 22nd annual celebration will be October 2-4, 2025.

NOVEMBER 11TH - VETERANS DAY PROGRAM AT NATIONAL CEMETERY #1
10am - ??
We will meet in the Ellis Fine Arts Building on campus of FSCC.
Don't stress about parking or walking - we will bus over to National Cemetery #1 to be apart of the Veterans Day Program. Following the program, we will bus to the VFW for a free will lunch and then back to Ellis. Please bring donation for the lunch.
